The “Tatort” from the camera operator’s view
The making-of for a special episode of the crime series “Tatort”, from the camera operator’s point of view, at the KKL Luzern.
Dani Levy shot “Die Musik stirbt zuletzt” in July 2017 without a single cut, the first episode of the TV series, running since 1970, to do so. The making-of camera was already rolling at the rehearsals.
During the shoot the camera went with camera operator Filip Zumbrunn right through the KKL and shows the shoot from his point of view: Levy, the detective duo Stefan Gubser and Delia Mayer, the crew. Even in the mirrored washroom, where he turned once all the way round, Zumbrunn never appears in the finished “Tatort”.
SRF published the making-of on srf.ch and YouTube, a few days before the first broadcast in August 2018. Part of the collaboration with SRF.
