From the summit ridge into the shops
A film for the fourth generation of Mammut’s Eiger Extreme collection, shot on the mountain whose name it bears.
The camera accompanied athletes of the Mammut Pro Team on the Eiger: Caro North and Stephan Siegrist on expedition, Dani Arnold on the summit ridge, David Lama († 2019) at the Pilz, a rock pillar of the north face. The aerial shots were made with the camera on a 30-metre line below a helicopter.
After an internal premiere in Grindelwald in autumn 2016, the film ran at all of some 30 dealer events, at outdoor fairs and online.
From 2017, Mammut Stores and retailers worldwide showed it on the shop floor, in Asia also in Chinese, Japanese and Korean versions. Part of the collaboration with Mammut.
