The wall ahead, the sea below

At the Cova del Diablo near Porto Cristo, Hojer, overall winner of the 2014 Bouldering World Cup, climbs the route “Loskot and Two Smoking Barrels”. In the film he calls deep water soloing the purest form of climbing.
One camera looks past his climbing shoes down to the water below the overhang; from several positions the film follows him to the top-out.
The film ran in the 2019/20 season in the supporting programme of the European Outdoor Film Tour and on Mammut’s channels. Part of the collaboration with Mammut.
