With Dani Arnold over the Mittellegi Ridge, on the Eiger, the mountain that made his name.
The mountain guide from Uri made his name on the Eiger north face. For Blick he crossed the Mittellegi Ridge, one of the classic ridge routes of the Alps, to the summit and back down.
The camera was carried by the second man on the rope; it stayed with Arnold all the way, from the Ostegg at 2,709 metres to the summit at 3,967 metres.
The film, also in an English version, was the spectacular opening of the Blick VR app: for the launch, Ringier handed out hundreds of cardboard viewers at Swiss railway stations. Part of the collaboration with Blick.
