A Christmas-tree fire, experienced first-hand
Experience a Christmas-tree fire first-hand: how fast the burning tree becomes a burning room.
The film was made in collaboration with Schutz & Rettung Zürich in one of its burn houses. A whole living room was set up there as the scene, just for this film.
It shows how fast it goes, from the decorated tree to the room in flames. The room burned only once; three purpose-built camera rigs captured it from several perspectives. Several cameras burned, but their memory cards survived the fire.
At Christmas the film ran on AXA’s social media channels, on YouTube as “So schnell breitet sich ein Christbaum-Brand aus”. Part of the collaboration with AXA.
