On August3, 1811 the Jungfrau became the first peak in the Swiss Alps over 4000m to be summited. Two brothers Johann-Rudolf and Hieronymus Meyer started in Aarau in the north west of Switzerland before hiring two chamois hunters, Joseph Bortis and Alois Volker to help them navigate the mountain from the Valais. The newest iPad issue of Switzerland's celebrity magazine Schweizer Illustrierte features an article about the recently opened Backstagehotel in Zermatt. Five panoramas take the reader on a virtual visit, including two audio interviews with the owners Evelyne und Heinz Julen. Read more »

The «Miss Switzerland» beauty competition takes place each year end of September. This year I shot a panorama for blick.ch during the election night of this year's winner Kerstin Cook.

Additionally to that image the Schweizer Illustrierte magazine also published exclusive interactive Making of panoramas of her first photo shooting on the following day (see screenshots above). Read more »
